The list below is not exhaustive — just some personal recommendations. In our experience all of these recommendations require purchase of tickets ranging from $20-$25 each except for Randyland and the Pittsburgh Botanic Garden, which can be enjoyed for free. There are many parks and neighborhoods around Pittsburgh worth exploring if you want to avoid buying tickets, so long as you’re up for a walk.
If you visit these (or any other) places in Pittsburgh, take pictures; the brides would love to see and hear about your experiences! Happy traveling!
Wait, isn't this where the wedding is being held? Yes, it most certainly is. Guests of the wedding (that’s you!) may explore the flowers, trails, and views for free the day of the wedding. Just let the front desk know you will be attending the Mortimer-Eastland wedding later. If you want to go at another time, you will have to pay an entrance fee.
This place was a blast. Highly recommend, especially if you love nature and birds. Within walking distance from Randyland, the Mattress Factory, the Museum of Illusions, and Andy Warhol Museum.
Say hi to Sierra’s friend Pierogi the penguin!
This modern art museum spans several different buildings on the same block. If you’re into modern art, we recommend it. If you have physical disabilities and require an elevator to get up and down stairs, we unfortunately cannot recommend this attraction. This is right down the road from Randyland and within walking distance of the National Aviary.

This place was very interesting, if small. At no charge, you can walk through this hodge-podge collection of colorful items that stand testament to how a single man's need for creative outlet can turn into a one-of-a-kind attraction. This is very close to the Aviary and the Mattress Factory.

Are you a fellow nerd? View and interact with a plethora of science-related exhibits and attractions at the Carnegie Science Center, located near the Pittsburgh Pirates stadium.
Fun fact: Growing up, Sierra spent lots of time at the Carnegie Science Center, including her junior prom (where she spent more time doing science than dancing).
